As of yesterday, I started a daily self-made challenge. I want to write, edit, and post 50-200 words per day. Yesterday I wrote “69,” today “106.” Each piece is titled after the word count. I’d like to expand on this in the future. For now the tentative working title of this evolving collection is “Word Count.” Even if I hate it, I’m going to write, edit, and post everyday for at least a month. Apologies for the aftermath. Below is “106.”

I spent the past half-hour looking at dresses that don’t suit me. I uploaded pics of myself to my FCBK timeline, waited three minutes, and deleted them. While I did this, I watched Netflix. I watched an episode of the Office, the one when Holly and Michael break up. My boyfriend sneezed. My eyes were itchy. Our cats cleaned themselves. Someone across the street listened to Tyler the Creator. They listened to him on their phone and I worried about what to wear to work tomorrow. I worried about what I wore today. Michael and Holly kissed and I thought about thinking. I stared at TV.
